10.30am – 1.00pm: “Instructions to the Emperor” by Chogyal Phakpa
This famous text was composed by Chogyal Phakpa for his disciple Kublai Khan as an introduction to the essential paths of Buddhism. With exemplary lucidity it relates the key points in the development of ethics, meditation and wisdom. This is part two of the teaching but it is not necessary to have attended part one to attend.
2.30 – 4.30pm: Initiation of Sakya Pandita from the lineage of Yak Mipham
